How to get to IJland

By car

IJland is easily accessible via several highways.
• From A10/A8: take exit S118 Zaandam/Amsterdam-Noord, follow signs for NDSM/Noord, and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Tt. Vasumweg. IJland is located on the right.
• From A1/A27: drive towards Zaandam/Amsterdam-Noord, and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Tt. Vasumweg. The location is on the right.

Free parking on the industrial zone between 06:00 and 19:00. Free all day on Saturdays.
• The Q-Park garage at the NDSM shipyard is available. Please note: always check the free times to avoid fines.

By public transport

From Amsterdam Central there are 2 options:

Option 1: Ferry

• Take the free ferry from Amsterdam Central to the NDSM Wharf.
• From the NDSM Wharf, it is about a 15-minute walk to IJland.

Option 2: metro + bus

• Take Metro 52 towards Noord and get off at Noorderpark.
• Take bus 394 or 391 towards Zaandam.
• Get off at Keerkringpark. From there, it is about a 3-minute walk.

By Taxi or Uber

Taxis and Ubers can stop right in front of the door to drop you off or pick you up safely.

By bike

• From Amsterdam Central Station, it is about a 30-minute bike ride via the IJ Promenade.
• From the NDSM Wharf, it is about a 5-minute bike ride.
